An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on a newly-created role at The Nucleo Project, working closely with the Programme Director and the Board of Trustees to lead the charity and continue the development of our organisation.
The Nucleo Project is a Sistema project based in North Kensington, giving children and young people the opportunity to learn an instrument as part of an orchestra, completely free of charge. Students attend 4-6 days a week, and through their participation they develop not only musically, but also in the many other social, personal and intellectual ways that musical study, teamwork and the pursuit of excellence can facilitate. The Nucleo Project was founded in 2013, and we currently work with over 300 young musicians.
Our office is in W10, and there is also ample opportunity to work from home if desired. Hours and working pattern are flexible, and very compatible with school schedules / calendars.
We are looking for someone with the experience, motivation and personality to take over the leadership of our operations and the growth of our young charity. He or she must be both an independent worker and a great team member, a positive and resourceful individual with the highest standards of integrity and attention to detail. He or she should have a strong belief in and commitment to the limitless potential of all young people, and the power of music and community to transform lives.
