How to join

The Nucleo Project offers activities to children aged 2 and up (classes for 0 to 2 year-olds coming soon!)

Children aged 2 to 4 attend a weekly musicianship class, and in the year before they enter reception they may also begin violin lessons.

Children aged 4-7 can join one of our string orchestras (playing violin, viola, cello or double bass), and attend three to four sessions a week (including musicianship).

Children aged 7+ can join one of our symphony orchestras (playing violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba or percussion!). They attend four sessions a week (including musicianship or music theory).

Please note that many of our activities take place on Saturdays.

If you are interested in joining us, please contact info@thenucleoproject.org or 07525 839 793.

Please note that if the right group for your child is full, we may need to place him/her on a waiting list. Instrument choices are dependent on space and availability.

Children who are part of the Nucleo Project

The Nucleo Project is a ‘music for social action’ programme in W10, London, that uses the pursuit of musical excellence as a way to enrich the lives of children and young people who, in turn, enrich the life of our community.
