Give an instrument

Have you got an instrument gathering dust in your home – if so, we know a young person who could be playing it

At Nucleo we’re constantly on the look-out for unused and unwanted instruments, so we can put them in the hands of young musicians around the country. We are always looking for the standard orchestral instruments - strings, wind, brass and percussion - in all sizes. All we ask is that they are in good working order and in a fully playable condition.

Our national instrument donation bank was established in 2012 by Sistema England, and has so far redistributed over 2500 instruments to students who needed them.

To discuss how to pass on an instrument, please contact our Instrument Bank Coordinator, Nina Kaye, instruments@thenucleoproject.org

how community orchestras can benefit

If you are a school or community music leader and want to know more about how our instrument bank may be able to help you, please contact Nina Kaye at instruments@thenucleoproject.org.

The more [my daughter] learns, the more in love with the instrument she is.
